Refill Jackson Opportunity Hours

When we’ve asked young people at Refill what they most want in their community, the answer has been consistent: a safe and fun place to hang out.

Opportunity Hours (OH) is our response to their vision. Unlike our more structured, time-specific RJI Pre-Employment Training , OH is open to all young adults—whether they’re seeking connection, support, skill-building, or simply a safe place to relax with peers. Young people are free to come and go during program hours, with opportunities to join classes and workshops—such as art sessions, money management workshops, or men’s and women’s wellness groups.

Opportunity Hours is a drop-in program designed for young adults ages 18–26 who are seeking community, career coaching, and personal development support. Hosted at Refill Café, OH is open Tuesday–Thursday afternoons from 4–7 PM, offering a welcoming space where young people can:

• Connect with peers in a supportive environment

• Access career coaching and social services

• Participate in hands-on workshops focused on career and personal growth
